Feeling Delighted

Picture3September’s Paper Pumpkin kit, Frights & Delights, is all treats and no tricks. It contains enough supplies to make 24 treat bags (see left of photo above). I assembled three of the treat bags according to the included instructions. (If you want additional supplies, or missed the first round of distribution, Stampin’ Up is now selling refills and full kits.)

I made the card on the right using items from the kit and additional coordinating elements from my personal stash of paper-crafting supplies.

I try to think of ways to extend the usefulness of Paper Pumpkin stamp sets and when I saw the bat stamps, I immediately wanted to attempt using them to create a Christmas wreath.

I used the star, bats, and “Treats for you” sentiment stamps from the included set to create a winter holiday gift card/treat box.

I’m pleased with the result.

If you’re looking for a fun evening of quick and cute projects, my next Paper Pumpkin workshop will be on Wednesday, October 24th.

In addition to spending the evening assembling the October kit with like-minded paper-crafters, you’ll make at least one card/project featuring only the included stamp set and see examples of other possible uses for the kit contents.

How it works:
•BYOPP–Bring your own Paper Pumpkin and pay $5 for extra supplies
•Subscribe to Paper Pumpkin before the 10th of the month and pay $5 for extra supplies
•Purchase a Paper Pumpkin from me and pay $25 for the kit and supplies (You must notify me before the 10th of the month. I may have extra kits for purchase, but don’t count on it!).
